How to choose courses
Perhaps you are wondering what courses to choose? This page is intended to give you some guidance for your exchange studies at Lund University.
Two semesters
In Sweden, the study year is divided into two semesters, and each semester is divided into two periods. For one semester of full time studies, you will collect 30 ECTS credits. The courses are most often worth either 15 ECTS credits, meaning it stretches over an entire semester on half study pace, or 7.5 ECTS credits, meaning it only stretches over half a semester. You always take at least two courses simultaneously.
